We have been Victoria B&B innkeepers for over twelve years at Gazebo Bed and Breakfast.
Our dress above is dreadfully inelegant but hardly inappropriate for the real-life work of housekeeping or gardening. We've long learnt that there's a balance between the elegant aspects of our work like being with guests in our lovely B&B and the necessary mundane work behind-the-scenes.
We purchased The Gazebo in 1997 with the intention of becoming B&B innkeepers. Both our backgrounds were in the hospitality industry and we saw this house and its gardens as the perfect setting for the B&B of our dreams. It had been run as a tea garden for 19 years serving the people of Victoria but we felt its potential, in this excellent location and setting, was for something greater.
So after twelve years and thousands of guests later we are still extending a welcome to this beautiful place for visitors to the nearby Butchart Gardens and to the Victoria area.
